Miss Shivani Kasbekar

Miss Shivani Kasbekar is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. She specialises in the assessment and treatment of squints (strabismus), the management of double vision, and cataract surgery for patients of all ages.
After qualifying with honours, she completed advanced fellowship training in adult ocular motility at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, in paediatric ophthalmology at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and in nystagmus and complex squint at Leicester Royal Infirmary — bringing together the adult and childhood sides of squint and eye-movement care.
Her approach is careful and personal: clear explanations, time to understand your concerns, and a treatment plan tailored to you or your child.
